Will Rosellini was previously founder and CEO of Microtransponder, Inc. a venture backed medical device company that is developing wireless RFID based neurostimulation devices for the treatment of chronic neurological diseases. At Microtransponder, Will led a team that raised $12M in prvate equity investment and $11M in NIH funding to support the development of a number of different medical devices through preclinical and clinical studies. During his tenure he was named a MTBC Tech Titan, GSEA Entrepreneur of the Year and is currently a finalist for the O'dell award given by the Texas Academy of Science, Engineering and Medicine.
He is an inventor on 3 patent applications, a published author in peer-reviewed journals in the area of bioinformatics and databases and has testified to Congress on the importance of non-dilutive funding for inventors and researchers. He is also a scientific advisor to IPNav, a global advisory firm that has represented inventors in over $600M in licensing revenues.
Prior to Microtransponder, Will founded and sold Texas Onsite Dental, a health services company which serviced nursing home and assisted living centers with mobile dental practices.
Will holds a BA in economics from the University of Dallas, a JD from Hofstra Law, an MBA and MS of Accounting from the University of Texas, a MS of Computational Biology from Rutgers, a MS of Regulatory Science from USC and a MS of Neuroscience from University of Texas. In addition, Will was a professional baseball pitcher in the Arizona Diamondbacks system.
